This map layer shows the small arms importing countries, grouped according to the maximum import volume in US dollars into five categories for the year 2016. Imports are only shown that come from a country whose small arms export volume is higher than US $100,000.
Details of the trade volumes are not known as many countries do not publish detailed statistics on their arms imports.
