Militarization and German Arms Exports to the Middle East 2013

The graphic compares the fourteen countries of the Middle East in regard to their militarization and the volume of received German arms exports in 2013. The countries are ranked according to their position in the Global Militarization Index (GMI), a yellow bar marks the volume in millions of euro. A regional map illustrates their militarization, while a fire icon marks those countries that participated in a conflict in 2013.
