The EDGAR database (Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research) is published by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) along with the Dutch Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL).
The database calculates country emissions of all atmospheric gases, in particular of direct greenhouse gases. In addition, the database contains information on the total emissions for international shipping and air traffic.
