This map layer shows the victims of landmines and cluster munitions worldwide in five categories for the year 2016.

Example of how to read the map:

In 2016, according to official reports, between 50 and 199 people fell victim to landmines and/or cluster munitions in Angola.

The following figure shows the five countries with the largest numbers of victims of landmines and cluster munitions in the year 2016.

    The Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor is an initiative providing research for the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and the Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC). International Campaign to Ban Landmines - ICBL) and the Cluster Munition Coalition Since 1999, they publish reports on landmines, cluster munitions and other explosive remnants of war on an annual basis. The ICBL is the author of these reports; Mines Action Canada has been the editor since 2004.
