  • UNOOSA - United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs

    The agency publishes the database "Online Index of Objects Launched into Outer Space" (OSO), which provides online access to all the relevant information on space objects. The Vienna-based United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) was established in 1962 to promote the peaceful use of space. UNOOSA also compiles a register of rescue organizations and a catalogue of measures to be taken in the event of space accidents and collisions.
