This map layer shows the small arms exporting countries, grouped according to the maximum export volume in US dollars into five categories for the year 2017. Main exporting countries are those countries whose annual small arms exports are higher than US $100,000.

Details of the trade volumes are not known as many countries do not publish detailed statistics on their arms exports.
