This map layer shows the countries that were members of the diamond control regime called Kimberley Process (January 2018).

The Kimberley Process has been internationally adopted by governments, companies and civil society to stop the trade in conflict diamonds. This Certification Scheme is one of the few legally-binding regimes regulating the trade in conflict resources. These certificates are intended to stop the spread of conflict diamonds. Its members are both diamond producers and importers.
